operations internationally. We provide IT Infrastructure and Structured Cabling services to Data Centre providers,
the Construction Sector and a broad spectrum of Industries and Enterprises and highly skilled in all aspects of
Fiber Optic connectivity. We operate across several countries including, Ireland, UK, & the EMEA region.

This role incorporates the elements of New Business Development, Sales and Marketing as follows:

New Business Development

This role incorporates the elements of New Business Development, Sales and Marketing as follows:

SALES:

Develop effective sales process, working with our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM),
Creating, and actioning opportunities

MARKETING:

Create business relevant content for Social Media platforms, Brand promotion and recognition, Develop client
presentation materials

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

New Business Development:

  • Seek out new areas to drive revenue growth, generate new business sales and develop an
    overall business strategy for the client base
  • Increase our Data Centre Customer base within Ireland, EMEA, and the UK.
  • Develop new early-stage business opportunities in the Construction and Services sector through
    scheduled meetings with Electrical Contractors, Consultant Engineers and End Users
  • Monitor and manager Project tenders
  • Co-ordinate closely with both the Estimating and Projects Departments
  • Carry out pre-qualification for larger Clients and/or Projects
  • Establish key customer profiles and maintain accurate customer information

Sales:

  • Manage sales growth strategy through effective client management, new business capture,
    tender and proposal development and retaining and growing existing business
  • Identify, manage, and communicate to current and new clients, an awareness of all product and
    service offerings
  • Manage Sales pipeline through our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) process
  • Continuous improvement of Sales Process

Marketing

  • Develop business appropriate Marketing Strategy for both Data Centre and Construction client base
  • Increase awareness of the CET Connect brand by developing and managing targeted Social Media
    programme
  • Development of Client Presentation Materials in print and digital form, to promote new business and
    increased sales

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be a positive, ambitious, experienced professional with integrity and in possession
of excellent organisational and communication skills. This candidate will also exhibit a predisposition to
operating with an independent and self-managed approach. While a Third Level qualification in a Business or
Marketing discipline is not essential, it is desirable, as is relevant sector experience.

Access to an existing Client ledger in Data Centre, Construction and Industry is a distinct advantage.

In addition:

  • A proven track record of Business Development is essential
  • The ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into sales revenue
  • Sectoral experience in the Data Centre and Construction space
  • The ability to operate to agreed Business Plans formulated yearly, reviewed monthly and quarterly
  • Perform to agreed KPI’s, and provide performance reports on activities and results
  • Possess strong IT skills, in particular MS Office Suite, most particularly, Outlook, Excel, and
    PowerPoint (or similar)
  • Up to date working knowledge of industry Social Media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and
    other platforms as appropriate to the promotion of the CET Connect Brand
  • Exhibit excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Display attitude and aptitude to operate and deliver to tight deadlines
