Gaining new experience

by Mary Lynch

Finance Director

For the past two weeks, we have had Aaron, a transition year student from Colaiste dun Iascaigh, Cahir working in the Clonmel office as part of his transition year programme. He has been given a chance to work in a number of different departments so that he can see how each department operates and help him gain an understanding of how CET Connect works. We are hoping Aaron has experienced everything he was hoping for and wish him all the best in the future.

Aaron has wrote a small piece about his time here in the office.

“The time I spent in CET Connect was a great experience. On Monday morning I was shown around the office and I was introduced to all the staff who were very welcoming. I was told about what exactly the company does and how a project is completed both in the office and on the building site. I learned how to take off drawings and throughout the week I also completed a few from one of their current projects. I also spent some time archiving files and I was shown how all job applications are dealt with and how supplies for the different offices in Clonmel and Dublin are ordered and dealt with. I really enjoyed my experience at the CET Connect office.”
