Human Resources Manager


Clonmel, Co. Tipperary

CET Connect has a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resources Manager reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will be based within our head office in Clonmel.

Overview of the Role
The HR Manager will oversee operations in the HR Department and will work closely with all business functions within the company structure. This position involves collaborating closely with the Managing Director and Senior Management team to provide valuable HR expertise and support throughout the business and to ensure our HR strategy and execution is aligned with our overall Company objectives. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in the area of learning and development, identifying training needs and developing a learning framework to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge. This role should develop along with the changing demands of the Business objectives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and Senior leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the change objectives.
  • Oversee all areas of the business, while identifying key critical business priorities.
  • Maintain HSE & Quality procedures, and practices in line with our IOS Certification.
  • Design, implement and maintain company policies and procedures in line with current employment law and future directives.
  • Manage organisational and company culture to create a safe and inclusive working environment.
  • Design and cultivate a companywide communications strategy aligned to the company brand.
  • Monitor annual performance management process for employee population, including learning and development, succession planning and retention.
  • The post holder will play a crucial role in the area of learning, training, and development. Identifying training needs, designing training programmes, facilitating employment development opportunities and initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Mentor and develop the role of the HR Administrator with a view to creating a strong HR Generalist role within 2 – 3 years.
  • Conduct workplace investigations including disciplinary and employment termination processes, while offering creative solutions to people issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
  • Using MS Excel track, report, and present key HR metrics to measure recruitment, retention, and overall HR performance.
  • Ensure our recruitment practices align to meet the current and developing needs of the company by creating a skilled and competent workforce.
  • Ensure recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements and other relevant employment legislation.
  • Carry out any additional ad hoc or general duties in keeping with the role.

Essential Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional, skilled in leading HR policy, systems, employee relations, resource planning, talent acquisition, business partnering, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and analyse problems, propose solutions, and implement best practice tools and techniques.
  • Minimum of three years’ relevant HR experience at a senior level.
  • Relevant third-level qualification and CIPD membership.

Quality Manager


Dublin / Overseas travel when required

CET Connect has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our growing team. This role will be based in Dublin, with overseas travel when required.

Position Overview:

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, processes, and programmes to ensure the highest standards of service excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive ISO 9001:2015 quality management system that aligns with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Understand and relay the quality requirements from the client to the project management teams through ITP documents and quality plans.
  • Promote the core values of CET Quality throughout all projects through the existing QA Teams and site management teams.
  • Establish and monitor quality objectives and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of quality programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare project specific QA Plans, carry out QMS audits, follow up reporting and address all quality related issues to improve client satisfaction.
  • Provide day to day management of the QA team to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide support, coaching and upskilling for current and future QA teams.
  • Manage project benchmarks requirements to the standards of the project contract prior and during project delivery through on-site management and existing QA team.
  • Review project documents, design drawings and specifications to maintain familiarity and ensure project teams have a full understanding of the requirements at project commencement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement in processes, procedures, and performance.
  • Promote LEAN construction processes & tools, best practice and sharing lessons learned across all projects.
  • Good document practice and technical reviews to ensure project deliverable requirements are being achieved.
  • Collate all quality records and coordinate handover to the client on time with existing QA team.
  • Ensure all CAPAs under your responsibility are completed in compliance with all regulatory and procedural commitments in line with the Quality Management System.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and minimize non-conformities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience within a similar Quality role preferably within the structured cabling or telecommunications industry.
  • In-dept knowledge of quality management systems/ISO 9001:2015.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities, with the capacity to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and driving excellence.

Reports:
The successful candidate will report to the HSEQ Director.

Trainee Technician


Dublin

  • Assist in the installation of Cat6 and Cat6a structured cabling, testing of installation with a Fluke Cable Analyser and terminating Fiber Optic Cabling.
  • Learn how to read construction drawings
  • Learn how to terminate and test copper cables
  • Learn how to terminate fiber optic cable
  • Carry out any other duties assigned to you in keeping with your role

General Requirements for the position

  • Wear required PPE at all times, without exception
  • Travel is a requirement of the position
  • You are required to work on any of the sites serviced by CET Connect Ltd, either at home or abroad
  • Must hold a valid and in-date Safe Pass
  • Must hold a valid and in-date Manual Handling Certificate
  • Full Driving License and own vehicle is also a requirement of the role
  • Certification in Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or Hoist Operator training
    is an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided on an as needs basis.
